Fiber Art

My fiber art adds depth to my portfolio by blending nontraditional materials and textile techniques like crocheting, creating a unique overlap between fine art and fashion. It was here that I began moving beyond technical art practices that I felt disconnected from, and creating works that carried personal meanings. My goal was to experiment with how these materials visually and textually interact with each other on the canvas and with the viewer, eliciting a sensory desire to interact with these pieces.
