Fashion Garments

While my creativity spans across a variety of media, my true passion lies in fashion design. In my design work, I am drawn toward the speculation surrounding the future of fashion, and channeling different ideas for how our world will be aesthetically dominated. I mostly work with a neutral color palette, and incorporate a blend of both structural and draped elements. Aesthetically, I want my fashion designs to be focused on the present and future; to lead and stay on top of trends. As a designer, I always strive to integrate eco-conscious practices in my fashion work, whether through creating upcycled garments from donated prom dresses, or creating a pants-set out of recycled trash and Target bags. I also began experimenting with fabric and textile creation, implementing hand knitting and crocheting techniques as accents in my pieces, something that can only be created by hand, and accepting the beauty of the errors of human craftwork in my designs.
